Vintage table lamp, antique German base, carved wood and dome lampshade with new ruffle, sourced in Alsace and refurbished in my Strasbourg workshop.

Table lamp, turned and carved wooden base: the combination of turned parts (curved shapes, rings) and floral motifs carved in relief is typical of artisanal or semi-artisanal production in Central Europe.

Estimated original period: 1920s/40s

Origin: Germany

Style (for the lamp base): The stylized flowers and leaves recall a late Art Deco / popular Art Nouveau aesthetic, very common in Germany, Austria, and Bohemia between the wars.

Dome-shaped lampshade, new, solid linen-colored with a small ruffle trim.
